Lakefield Chiefs - Fitzsimmons Towing & Repair

The Lakefield Chiefs Junior Hockey Club held a press conference on Wednesday, May 8 to announce that Fitzsimmons Towing and Repair would be the clubs new corporate sponsor . Fitzsimmons Towing and Repair under the ownershi of Mr. Scott Fitzsimmons has sponsored local minor hockey, OPJHL Peterborough Stars and minor lacrosse teams for many years.Mr. Fitzsimmons, an avid hockey enthusiast, is looking forward to sponsoring the Chiefs and help keep the Chiefs competitive in the COJHL. Members of the of the Chiefs Executive and Board of Directors as well as volunteers attended the press conference to welcomed Mr. Fitzsimmons and Fitzsimmons Towing and Repair to the club. The club will now be known as the Lakefield Ftizsimmons Chiefs.

Chiefs Tryout/Training Camp

The Lakefield Fitzsimmons Chiefs will be starting their main tryout/training camp at the Kinsmen Centre in Peterborough on Tuesday, August 27th -registration 7 pm, on ice from 8 -10 pm and Thursday, August 29th - registration at 7 pm and on ice from 8-10 pm pm. The following week, the tryout/trainig camp moves to the Ennismore Community Centre on Tuesday, September 3 - registration at 8 pm and on the ice from 9-11 pm. Lakefield Hockey Reunion

The Lakefield Chiefs Junior Hockey Club and the Lakefield Minor Hockey Association will be hosting a Lakefield Hockey Reunion on Saturday, July 20,2013.
